During the reign of Shah Safi, the credit of Bagrati clan was increased due to their valuable service to the monarch and fining his reign. In the beginning of the accession, he wanted set up the tent of her reign based on the new columb and overthrow old elements that was independent on Shah Abbas. To overthrov these old elements, he required to a vigorous, skilled and efficient agent for replacement. Bagrati clan has necessary elements and dependent on the old elites. Shah Safi could make conquests on the all interior plots, with assistance and recourse to Bagrati clan. The main purpose of this study is to find the answer of the following questions: Why Shah Safi rely on the Bagrati clan? Which are the reasons the Bagrati clan reached to the maximum power of their authority? What are the attempts of the Bagrati clan to conduct the affairs? What is the influence of Bagrati clan attempts on the disordering the balance of power? what the first Shah Abbas developed among three opponent groups (Turk, Tajik and Ghollar)? خاندان باگراتیان از قدیمی­ترین و مشروع­ترین خاندان‌های گرجستان و مورد اعتماد صفویان بودند. در زمان سلطنت شاه صفی این اعتبار در سایۀ خدمات ارزندۀ آن‌ها به شاه و تثبیت پادشاهی وی، افزایش چشم‌گیری یافت. شاه صفی به هنگام قدرت‌گیری درپی آن بود تا خیمۀ پادشاهی خویش را براساس پایه­های جدید برپا کند و عناصر قدیمی وابسته به شاه عباس را براندازد. برای برانداختن این عناصر قدیمی هم به بازویی قدرتمند و هم به عناصری کاردان و کارآمد برای جایگزینی آن‌ها نیاز بود. خاندان باگراتی عناصر لازم و وابسته به‌خود، برای جایگزینی نخبگان قدیمی را در اختیار داشت. شاه صفی توانست با کمک و توسل به خاندان باگراتیان بر تمامی توطئه‌های داخلی غلبه کند. پاسخ به این پرسش‌ها که چرا شاه صفی به خاندان باگراتیان متکی شد؟ چه عواملی سبب شد تا خاندان باگراتیان به بالاترین حد و درجۀ اعتبار نزد شاه صفی دست یابند؟ تلاش‌های خاندان باگراتی برای گذران امور منجر به چه نتایجی شد؟ و این تلاش‌ها چه تأثیری در برهم‌زدن توازن قدرتی که توسط شاه عباس اول میان گروه‌های سه‌گانۀ متعارض( ترک، تاجیک و قوللر) ایجاد کرده بود، داشت؟، از مهم‌ترین دغدغه‌های این نوشتار است. https://jcep.ut.ac.ir/article_60551_96b1b7454d6e859230601f68de6503d3.pdf
