Aims and Scope

The scientific framework of featured papers encompass current issues in these areas, in addition to long-term developments and prospects for growth, development, and security in the region.

The journal of “Central Eurasia Studies” examines various aspects of state building, nation building, foreign relations, terrorism, security, women, civil society, women, politics, environment, and drug trafficking pertaining to the Russian Federation, Central Asia and the Caucasus. In addition, Russian politics are carefully examined with regards to Post-Soviet Republics. The domestic and foreign policy matters within these countries are also of great importance, particularly those relevant to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The journal of "Central Eurasia Studies" also intends to expand its scope by accepting articles on Iran-Eurasia relations. The main points of the magazine are as follows:
